Personal projects and work come from the heart, twenty years photographing Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, participating in sacred ceremony with Tribal elders worldwide and speaking with urban elders they all have a message for our youth, a photo journalistic approach to my own myopia since a very young age and how I see the beauty of life without my glasses or a sharp focus.
Objects of desire that call us to create, appreciate, question, laugh, to see in photos what is missed in the passing light of day or the darkness of night, New Mexico a magical place where the light can be epic and profound, changing minute to minute, where history of Native Americans, Spanish Conquistadors, Europeans, Art, the wild west collided with breathtaking scenery and natural wonders.
